A workforce training as an activity that is intended to improve and develop the attitudes, skills, behavior and knowledge of employees in accordance with the wishes of the company. Thus, the training in question is training in a broad sense, not limited only to develop skills solely.  Defines training as a systematic process whereby employees of explore knowledge, skills (skill), ability (ability) or behavior towards personal goals and the organization.

That method of training is divide into two on the job and the training. On the job training is use more in comparison with off the job training. This is because the method of training is more focus on quickly increasing productivity. While the method of training is more likely to focus on long-term development and education.

On The Job Training is divided into 6 kinds, namely:

Instruction Job training

this training need analysis of the performance of the work carefully. This training begins with an initial explanation of the purpose of the work, and shows the steps jobs.


Training admission process leads to new employees, who are working with and under the guidance of expert practitioners for some time. The effectiveness of the training depends on the ability of practitioners who are experts in overseeing the training process.

  6. Teleconferencing: training with the use of satellites, where coaches and sat. It is possible to be in a different place.

  7. Case studies: training use in business class, where participants are require to find basic principles through analyzing the problem.

  8. Role playing: training where the participants are condition on a particular issue. The participant should be able to resolve the problems which the participants as if it was directly involve.

  9. Simulation: training that creates a very appropriate learning conditions or similar employment conditions. The training is use for technical and learning of motor skill.

  10. Program instruction: is the application of the principle in operational condition, usually using a computer.

  11. Computer-base training: the training program is expect to have an interactive relationship. Between your computer and the participants. In which participants were ask to respond directly during the learning process.

  12. The Laboratory training: this training consists of discussion groups. That are irregular in which participants were ask to express their feelings for each other. The purpose of this training is to create alertness and increases sensitivity. To other people's feelings and behavior as well as in groups.
