Flow Chart Diagram

A flowchart diagram is a type of diagram that represents an algorithm, workflow or process. The flowchart shows the steps as boxes of various kinds, and their order by connecting the boxes with arrows. This diagrammatic representation illustrates a solution model to a given problem.

Flowchart or in the of industry is often refer to with the Flowchart diagram is use in the manufacturing industry to describe its operational processes so that it is easy to understand and easy to be seen base on the sequence of steps from a process to other processes. Flow Diagram or flowchart is often use for documenting the existing process of the standard so that it becomes a guideline in the running production process.

In addition, Flowchart or a Flowchart is also use to perform analysis of the production process so as to make improvements or continuous process improvement (continuously).

Basically, the Flowchart (Flowchart) is a tool use to perform Process Analysis, Process Planning and documenting the process as standard Production Guidelines.

Flow Chart Diagram - 7 QC TOOLS

Flowchart (Flowchart) is one of the 7 QC Tools (7 quality control tool) which was introduce by Mr. Kaoru Ishikawa in 1968 along with other tools such as a Histogram, Pareto Chart, Scatter Diagram, Control Chart, Cause and Effect Diagram (Fishbone Chart) and Check sheets.

Other mentions to Flowchart (Flowchart): Flow diagrams, Process Flowcharts, Process Folders, Work Flow diagrams and Business models.

Flowchart (Flowchart) is a great tool (tool) basic and easy to use and very useful for a Manufacturing company in identifying operational processes specially to explain each step in carrying out its operational Processes.

Some of the advantages in the use of the Flowchart (Flowchart) including:

  1. The documentation of the work procedures in ISO

  2. As a guide to running Operations

  3. A guide to conduct training against new employees

  4. As a benchmark (benchmark)

  5. The Map work to prevent the loss of direction

  6. To facilitate decision making

Flowchart symbols (Flowchart)

Flowchart (Flowchart) shape of the Diagram that represents an algorithm or process. With different types of boxes and lines connected by arrows as reverses its flow. In the process the boxes are usually give a Label or short title of the process.

The following is a standard shape or symbol is often found in the Flowchart (Flowchart):
