The planning procurement management is to plan the project procurement process (equipment procurement, outsourcing, etc.) for a specific project, and to carry out daily management of suppliers, procurement catalogs, etc. through the dynamic management process, as the basis for implementing procurement.

planning procurement management refers to the preparation of procurement management plans, which stipulates the decision to purchase what, when to purchase, how to purchase, but also to record the project's demand for products, services or results, and to find potential suppliers.

DETAILED EXPLANATION OF ITO PLANNING AND PROCUREMENT MANAGEMENT:

 

(1) self-made or outsourced analysis: through direct cost and indirect cost analysis, it is decided whether to make or outsource.

(2) market research: use a variety of methods to do market research to determine procurement methods and supplier selection.

(3) procurement management plan: describe the procurement process from the formation of procurement documents to the end of the contract.

(4) procurement statement of work: the essence is to explain the scope of work outsourced. the part of the project scope that is relevant to the contract is defined, and each procurement statement of work comes from the project scope benchmark.

(5) procurement documents: i.e. solicitation documents. a proposal for an offer from a potential seller. when deciding to purchase based on price, tenders, bids or quotations are usually used, rather than quotation proposals.

(6) supplier selection criteria: used to select qualified sellers who meet the requirements among potential suppliers.

(7) self-made or outsourced decision-making: which products, services or results of the decision-making project need to be purchased out and which self-made products are more appropriate.

note: the organization process assets entered are primarily the various contractual agreement types for the organization.

 

the procurement management plan is one of the main results of this phase of the work, and specific procurement activities will be carried out on the basis of the procurement plan. the next section will proceed to the procurement implementation phase.
